About CROSSTRAFFIC

CrossTraffic gets it's name from a street sign that reads "Cross Traffic - Does Not Stop".  This phrase is accompanied with the Bible verse from Philippians 3:14 that states, "I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."  God calls us to keep on keeping on.  Our desire is to see our young men and women have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  This comes by faith through the hearing of the Word of God (Romans 10:17), with the heart believing, and with the mouth confessing for salvation (Romans 10:9 - 10).  Our teens are then taught how to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15) and to not only know what they believe, but why they believe it.  1Pe 3:15 says "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks  a reason of the hope that is in them with meekness and fear."  Our teens know that Imitating Christ (Ephesians 3:11) comes with trials and test and that these trials and test will in fact, make them stronger (James 1:2-4), and will mold and shape and conform them into the very image of Christ Jesus (Romans 8:29).  Thus, Philippians 3:14 reminds them to press on and not stop!
