"The Cause"

The Cause was presented to Pastor Allen at a Dare2Share luncheon in the fall of 2009.  It was a reminder that every aspect of our lives should be about the cause of Christ.  That cause is demonstrated in the Bible from Luke 19:10 that tells us specifically the cause of Christ.  It says that Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.  That then should be our cause.  No, we can't actually "save" people ourselves, but we can seek out the lost and lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus in that He "saves" by faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Our desire for the teens at Ponderosa and CrossTraffic is that they begin to recognize opportunities around them to share The Cause.  Whether in sports, band, work or parties, they take each opportunity to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. 

Each activity of CrossTraffic is designed to teach God's Word and demonstrate through discipleship how to put the Word of God into practice in the lives of our teens.
